WildWoods Tree Adventures

What: Active outdoor fun on the Garden Route. The WildWoods Tree Adventure Park consists of 2 Kids courses and 3 Adult courses with 74 aerial platforms connected by zip lines, bridges, tarzan swings and obstacles.

It is a first for the Garden Route with over 3,8km of cabling used to create this unique outdoor adventure park. The different courses and a perfect balance between activity and fun make it suitable for families, school outings, team building, corporate eventing as well as the adrenaline enthusiast.

When: Open everyday from 10:00 to 17:00, During the Week Bookings required 0782514458, cut off time for last rides at 16:00.

Where: Meet at the WildWoods office in the secondary parking lot (first left as you enter the timberlake main gates). timberlake is halfway between Wilderness and Sedgefield, directly off the N2.

Stepping Stones: Course 1

Our first Childrens course is designed for beginners and suitable for Kids aged 4 to 12.

Launch price: R40, Season price: R60

Length: 8 obstacles

Time to completion: 30m to 1 hour depending on age

Highest platform: 2 meters

Longest Zip line: 13 meters

Highlight: Get to walk with your child and familiarise yourself with WildWoods on this introduction course.

Monkey Moves: Course 1 & 2

Combining course 1 and 2 this is a slightly more challenging childrens course suitable for kids aged 6 to 12.

Length: 17 obstacles

Time to completion: 1h to 1h30

Highest platform: 2m

Longest Zip line: 30m

Highlight: Get to zip through the trees on the 30m zip line.

Tree Hugger: Course 3

This first Adult course starts with a guided instruction and short training section and then sends you off along the ridge line overlooking the timberlake village.

Highlight: Walk between the trees and enjoy your first zip line with a view!

Swinging Tarzan: Course 3 & 4

Combining course 3 and 4, this is a slightly longer adventure giving you some options to increase the difficulty on course 4.

Highlight: Let loose on the tarzan swing and challenge yourself with the balancing obstacles.

High Flying: Course 3, 4 & 5

The flagship, combining all three adult courses, taking you all the way to the top ridge and a viewing platform with views over Bo-langvlei and Rondevlei.

Highlight: Relaxing on the viewing platform and of course the speedy 102m zip line!
